Chapel Hill, NC's roots-rock combo Jennyanykind take the production reins once again for their 6th release, I Need You. A mix of quirky blues, light-hearted pop and Southern gothic psychedelia, I Need You expands upon the organic sound and hummably simple tunes first explored on 1998's Big John's. I Need You takes this band another step ahead as songwriters and visionaries of their unique sound. Brothers Michael and Mark Holland both contribute songs ranging in tenor from Dylanesque folk to hypnotizing electronic lullabies.
